After purchasing the Canon 5D Mk II, on the 31st December 2010. And after 8 years of faithful service traveling from Port Macquarie to Ulladulla along the coast. Young to Mudgee and places in-between.
Four days of no sounds manmade,but the gentle rumble of waves rolling onto the shoreline. We had a beautiful stay in the Headkeeper’s cottage at Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse.
Saturday 12 .05.2018. We set off for a overnight stay in the city, at the Meriton Apartments. Location is nice and close to Darling Harbour, and China Town
A 4am start to our drive to Port Macquarie. The reason for the early start, to avoid traffic on Pendle Hill road as people flee Sydney for the Easter long weekend.
Used colloquially as a metonym for Stadium Australia, as well as the Olympic Park percent as a whole. Sydney Olympic Park is a large sports and entertainment complex in the West of Sydney, also an official suburb of Sydney. The area was redeveloped for the 2000 Olympics. The area was originally part of the suburb of Homebush Bay, but was designated a suburb in it’s own right in 2009.
On the 8th February we departed Kingsford Smith airport bound for Wellington New Zealand to begin our 10 day explore. The adventure was to find new locations for further exploration at a later date. Plus a revisit of Queenstown as a stop over before heading to Milford Sound.
Our road trip started near Camden heading towards Penrith,and then through the townships that make up the Blue Mountains heading towards Lithgow. From this point on,new adventures were awaiting us. Let the Australia Day long weekend start, with new digital memories.
My Mate Malcolm and I thought we would do something silly, like get out of a warm bed at 3am and get ready to make our way into the city. I arrived just before 4am at Malcolm’s for the drive into the city. Our chances of a good morning were already slim with a weather forecast predicting rain.
Met up with my mate Malcolm Katon from Firefly Photos Australia to try out the new studio lighting system. Plus Danielle Debs and Cameron were our models in their cosplay roles. The amount of dedicated craftsmanship that goes into the detail of each costume is astounding! The characters are from Halo 5: Guardians, the ninth instalment in the Halo franchise.
